Uptown Association
Uptown Art Fair
Don’t miss the most anticipated Art Fair of the year! Originally started in 1973 with the intention of raising funds for neighborhood initiatives, the Art Fair now draws more than 380,000 people each year to witness the talent of over 350 artists from around the world through sculpture, ceramics, paintings, jewelry and more. This event is the second largest in Minnesota (with the first being the State Fair), and for good reason.
There’s more to the Uptown Art Fair than the art pieces themselves. Head to the Performance Stage for a variety of music, stop by any of the food vendors to get a taste of Minneapolis, sit back and relax in one of the beer gardens with a cold one, or take your kids to the Family Imagination Station for some interactive fun!
If you’re hungry to experience more of the local food scene, you absolutely must try one of the many sushi spots in Uptown. From traditional Japanese cuisine to a sushi burrito (yes…a sushi burrito), Uptown has you covered. Take a look at our recommendations for the best sushi in Uptown!
