Brave New Workshop
The Brave New Workshop has been putting a unique twist on theater and comedy longer than any other theater in the United States. Opening in 1958, Brave New Workshop introduced a new style of performing. Using input from the audience and creating stories on the spot, the cast tested the limits of theater performance and created a new and exciting brand of improv entertainment that's still going strong today. Now, the stark white letters on the theater's façade read, "Dudley Riggs Theatre" in honor of the founder of satirical improvisational theater and the Brave New Workshop.
Provocative humor intersects with relatable themes to provide a one-of-a-kind show that’s sure to make you laugh. It’s funny, it’s relevant, and it pushes the boundaries just enough to keep you coming back for more. The cast is outstanding, and it’s clear that improv is their craft.
