4. Minnesota Lynx New Draft Pick

The Minnesota Lynx drafted Allissa Pili with the number 8 pick in this year's WNBA. She is the first player of Samoan descent drafted by a WNBA team and an elite scorer. Make sure to grab tickets to see her play her rookie season!

5. Dining by the Water

A day on the water is better with snacks. The iconic Sea Salt at Minnehaha Falls Park is planning an expansions that includes The Sandwich Room at Sea Salt featuring cold sandwiches and a rotating menu of other grab-and-go foods, plus a beer counter with a dozen taps next to the sandwich window. Also check out Pimento on the Lake at Bde Maka Ska Pavilion, which opened late fall last year and is ready serve up a new crowd of summer visitors.

6. Brühaven Brewery

The new brewery in the former Lakes & Legends spot in Loring Park is now open! Head to Brühaven's taproom for excellent craft beer.

7. Wakpa Bar – Owamni

This new takeout-style pop-up will serve beer and wine and feature a menu of indigenous snacks and small plates, such as elk skewers, bison birria tacos, smoked turkey legs, smoked walleye and bean dip, popcorn with crickets and more. It's located on the patio outside the lower level of the restaurant and will allow you to enjoy a meal at tables outside the pavilion overlooking the river and falls.

8. Meet at Mia Summer Series

Meet at Mia is a new series of free Thursday evening events for adults. Gather with some live music, art making, special programs, and unique food and drink (for purchase).

9. North Loop Green

North Loop Green is partnering with local businesses and event organizers to bring more than 100 events to its 1-acre green space this summer. Expect events like live music, markets and fitness classes.
