Minnesota Sports Awards
Sports Minneapolis is pleased to present the Minnesota Sports Awards, a gala that celebrates the best of sports in Minnesota over the past year. From the athletes who’ve inspired us to the moments that captivated us, the awards honor the success stories that embody the spirit of sports in Minnesota.
The evening’s awards show features appearances by some of Minnesota’s best-known athletes and sports legends, and a new class of inductees into the Star Tribune’s Minnesota Sports Hall of Fame. Fans from across Minnesota are invited to nominate award winners leading up to one memorable evening that shines a spotlight on the impact of sports in our state
A portion of the proceeds from the 2019 Minnesota Sports Awards benefited the United Heroes League, a non-profit organization that actively works to ensure that children of military service members are afforded every opportunity to participate in sports.
The Minnesota Sports Awards is carried live by FOX Sports North across multiple digital platforms and rebroadcast at a later date.
