The Minneapolis Convention Center (MCC) is prepared and excited to welcome guests back to the largest convention center in the Upper Midwest. We have implemented a multi-layered health and safety approach for our team members, streamlined additional parking options, redesigned and enhanced our cleaning protocols, and improved our training processes for all employees. Additionally, we continue to provide attendees with an award-winning user experience through easy navigation, multiple on-site food options, and top-notch guest services, available at any time throughout the building.
EASY PARKING
Multiple parking ramps are located within walking distance of the MCC to make parking easy and safe. Many ramps boast quick skyway connections to the MCC and offer the choice to pre-purchase your spot.

CONVENIENT SKYWAY ACCESS
The MCC is accessible through the skyway system from multiple nearby hotels and parking ramps. The skyway also connects visitors to popular restaurants, shopping destinations and attractions.
ON-SITE GUEST SERVICES
The MCC’s high-functioning Command Center is centrally located on Level One of the building to provide guests with convenient access and efficient response times. With over 100 security cameras, our team monitors all areas of the building 24/7, including our 3rd Ave. Parking Ramp.

ENHANCED CLEANING & TRAINING
The MCC is an accredited GBAC STAR™ facility and has implemented the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention. The MCC has increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting with EPA-approved disinfectants in all public and private spaces with an emphasis on high touchpoint areas.

Pizza, beer, wine, fresh coffee, burgers, vegan nuggets, salads, ice cream – the food options at the MCC are anything but limited. Craft Bar & Lounge, Dunn Brothers Coffee, and multiple Mill City Grill outlets are all located inside the MCC – serving the tastiest bites and brews.

EASY NAVIGATION
Navigating the MCC is a breeze. Wayfinding screens are strategically placed throughout the building, guiding you to where you need to be. The Visitor Information Center and posted security guards are also available to assist guests and answer any questions.

FRIENDLY DOWNTOWN AMBASSADORS READY TO HELP
Look for Downtown Improvement District (DID) Ambassadors if you need help or assistance while exploring downtown Minneapolis, using our public streets and transportation, or navigating our skyways. The Ambassadors can answer questions, give directions, and help with security issues. Look for winter blue jackets or neon-lime summer shirts, all with the DID logo.
