Minneapolis LGBTQ Community
Minneapolis is a pioneer in the LGBTQ community.
We have a proud tradition of inclusion throughout our entire city. We were the first state to reject a constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage by a popular vote. In 2016, we were given a perfect rating by LGBTQ Nation for 2016 for most LGBT-friendly city in the United States. Today, over 200 organizations in the Twin Cities offer diverse programs and services to LGBTQ Minnesotans, their friends and families. Minneapolis has always been an inclusive city and we look forward to hosting your next meeting, convention or event.
