SAINT PAUL, MINN. - Xcel Energy Center today announced several new venue policies designed to enhance the fan experience and promote a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests, artists and employees.

Beginning on Thursday, Sept. 12 for the blink-182 concert, Xcel Energy Center will implement dedicated electronic (cashless) payment systems at select locations in venue concessions and other points-of-sale. These locations will solely accept credit and gift cards, as well as mobile payments such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. The move, announced in partnership with the venue's food and beverage provider Levy, is aimed at creating faster moving lines and increased fan satisfaction.

In September 2018, to provide a safe environment for the public and expedite fan entry into the arena, the Minnesota Wild implemented a policy limiting the size and type of bags allowed. Beginning on October 15, all Xcel Energy Center events will adhere to the Bag Policy under the arena's Guest Services Guide. Fans attending events at the venue will be permitted to carry:

• Clear tote (plastic, vinyl or PVC) that does not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" or a plastic storage bag that is maximum one gallon, resealable and clear.
• Small bags, such as a small clutch purse, that are approximately the size of a hand with or without a handle or strap, will be allowed but must not exceed 5" x 8".

Xcel Energy Center is a smoke-free facility and tobacco use of any kind is not permitted within the venue. This includes the use of electronic cigarettes, vaporizers or similar products. For added security, effective today the arena will discontinue permitting guests to leave the venue and re-enter for any reason, including smoking purposes.
