Minneapolis Holiday Market Sneak Peek:
Herrnhuter Stars
Herrnhuter Stars are a traditional decoration that originated in Germany in the 18th Century. Originally, they helped boarding school students learn geometrics. Today, they not only provide decorations during the holidays but also togetherness as families assemble these stars comprised of 25 points17 four-sided and 8 three-sided. Visit My Brilliant Star right below the carousel at the Minneapolis Holiday Market.
Leckerlee Lebkuchen
Leckerlee founder Sandy Lee spent 2 ½ years in Berlin, and during her time in Germany she fell in love with a traditional gingerbread specialty called lebkuchen. She perfected her recipe through meticulous research, and her creation is available each day at the Minneapolis Holiday Market. Visitors can taste a sweet Bavarian treat, or bring them home in a festive holiday tin.
