Update on 494 construction regarding Mall of America^® access

WHAT: A small section of 494 under the Hwy 77 bridge will be closed this coming weekend on Saturday, Sept. 6 and Sunday, Sept. 7. All roadways and entrances to Mall of America^® will remain open.

This road construction may cause some delays. The best routes to access Mall of America this weekend are as follows:

• When traveling from the East on 494, drivers should exit 494 on 24th Ave. South or 34th Ave. South and follow American Blvd west toward Mall of America.
• When traveling from the West on 494, drivers can still exit on Hwy 77 southbound to access Killebrew Drive or Lindau Lane, but will not be able to pass underneath the Hwy. 77 bridge.
• Travelers from the north and south shouldnt experience any disruption in their normal routes.

Use of Metro Transit is encouraged. Train and bus riders shouldnt be affected by the road construction.
