Under the Streetlamp, the Electrifying New Male Vocal Quartet, Debuts in Minnesota at the Pantages T
MINNEAPOLISUnder the Streetlamp, the new male vocal quartet featuring recent star cast members from the Tony-winning Broadway musical Jersey Boys, will make its Minnesota debut at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Hennepin Theatre Trusts Pantages Theatre. This group all played Frankie Valli and were cast for their mastery of Vallis famous multi-octive, tenor-falsetto vocal range. Christopher Kale Jones, who received rave reviews as the lead when Jersey Boys played the Orpheum Theatre in spring 2008, returns in this engagement.
Throughout March on Twin Cities Public Television with their special Under the Streetlamp: Live!, these four charismatic singers showcase a repertoire of nostalgic hits from The Beach Boys, The Beatles, The Four Seasons and more. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 23. To purchase tickets or more information, please visit www.HennepinTheatreTrust.org or call 1.800.982.2787.
Formed in 2010 after the Chicago production of Jersey Boys closed, Under the Streetlamp also includes Michael Cunio, Michael Ingersoll and Shonn Wiley, who met onstage as the lead roles in the Chicago and national productions of the Tony-winning musical. These engaging performers came together to portray a band on stage with the tight harmonies and rapport of a modern day Rat Pack and now they seamlessly transition from doo-wop and Motown to old-time rock n roll hits. They will be accompanied by their four piece band and three local horn players. These multi-talented performers have been featured in film and television, appearing on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Emmy Awards and Oprah during their Jersey Boys tenure. They will visit Minneapolis as part of a national tour of more than 25 cities including Chicago, Atlanta and Philadelphia.
