The Twins today announced their preliminary regular season schedule for the 2013 season; the team's 53rd campaign in Twins Territory.
For the first time since moving to Target Field in 2010, the Twins will open their season at home with a three-game series against the Detroit Tigers (April 1, 3 and 4).
Other home schedule highlights
include a three-game series against the Boston Red Sox (May 17-19), a four-game series against the New York Yankees (July 1-4), and a 20-game interleague schedule that includes visits by the New York Mets (April 12-14), Miami Marlins (April 22 and 23), and Milwaukee Brewers (May 29 and 30) and the Philadelphia Phillies (June 11-13) .
The Twins will close out the 2013 season at Target Field with a seven-game homestand against the Detroit Tigers (Sept. 23-25) and the Cleveland Indians (Sept. 26-29).
