Transmission is back at First Avenue on Friday, March 25th to host SOUND + VISION: TRANSMISSION'S 15th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION featuring a very special tribute to David Bowie.

Being named “Best Club DJ” by the readers of City Pages for ten consecutive years, Jake Rudh has been featured DJ-in-residence at some of the premiere club spaces of Minneapolis, including The Varsity Theater, Ground Zero, Kitty Cat Klub and Clubhouse Jager.

Jake is also host of Transmission the program heard on 89.3 The Current every Thursday night at 10pm. Also being named after the Joy Division classic, the radio program is heavily centered around new wave and British pop and will often host in-studio sessions and interviews with musicians from those worlds...most recently Adam Ant, Bryan Ferry of Roxy Music, Duran Duran's John Taylor, synth-pioneer Thomas Dolby, Ron and Russell Mael of Sparks and Talking Heads/Tom Tom Club co-founder Chris Frantz.
