Timberwolves & Lynx Host Grand Opening for New Training Center and Corporate Headquarters

Opening Ceremony Guests Include NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and WNBA President Laurel Richie

What: The Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx are hosting a grand opening for their new training center and corporate headquarters in Mayo Clinic Square. The event includes a grand opening ceremony and a behind the scenes tour of the new facility. A buffet-style lunch will be served during the event.

Grand opening speakers and special guests include:

- NBA Commissioner Adam Silver

- WNBA President Laurel Richie

- Timberwolves & Lynx Owner Glen Taylor

- Mayo Clinic President & CEO Dr. John Noseworthy

- Provident Real Estate Ventures CEO Phillip Jaffe, owner of Mayo Clinic Square

The tour will include access to the teams training areas and corporate headquarters as well as portions of the adjacent Mayo Clinic Sports Medicine Center.

When: Wednesday, June 17

-11 a.m.-1:30 p.m

-11 a.m.: Doors open

-11:30-11:50 a.m.: Grand opening ceremony

-Media tours will take place following the ceremony. The tour will last approximately 30 minutes.
