1,000 Tickets Claimed in Less than Three Minutes

Minneapolis/St. Paul The Minnesota Timberwolves announce that the 1,000 tickets purchased by Kevin Garnett for tonights game have all been claimed by fans. The tickets were made available to fans at 9 a.m. today and were all claimed in less than three minutes.

On Sunday, the Timberwolves announced Garnett purchased 1,000 tickets for fans in a show of appreciation for the warm welcome he received during his return to Minnesota. Beginning at 9 a.m. today, the first 500 fans to log on to www.timberwolves.com/kg received a pair of tickets, courtesy of Garnett.

Fans who received tickets can pick them up today outside the Timberwolves executive offices on the skyway level of Target Center between 4-6 p.m.

Tonights game against the Los Angeles Clippers tips off at 7 p.m. at Target Center. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for season members and 6 p.m. for the general public.
