Tasty Treats and Enchanting Activities Highlight Holidazzle Village Featuring Minneapolis Holiday Market Lineup
Holidazzle Village featuring the Minneapolis Holiday Market revealed visuals today that hint at the sights,
sounds, and smells of the experience in advance of the Nov. 28-Dec. 24 event
MINNEAPOLIS (November 6, 2014) The holidays are time for gathering and enjoying experiences with family and friends, and nothing adds to those festive moments like sweet and savory smells, delicious tastes, beautiful sights, colorful lights and enchanting activities. This winter, Holidazzle Village featuring the Minneapolis Holiday Market will bring those experiences to life.
Visit Nicollet Mall between 12th and 10th Streets and enter a magical place that transforms Downtown
Minneapolis into a winter wonderland. From Nov. 28 through Dec. 24, Holidazzle Village featuring the
Minneapolis Holiday Market will be home to holiday characters, a
carousel ride, traditional festive refreshments, storytelling and a
world-class experience of activities, music and memory-making.

Holidazzle Village featuring the Minneapolis Holiday Market will
be unlike anything Downtown Minneapolis has ever hosted during the holiday season, said Leah Wong, vice
president of events and marketing, Minneapolis Downtown Council. There will be many different activities for
people of all ages, and each night will be a different experience. Whether you want to enjoy a unique ride under
the holiday lights, try a tasty treat from one of the international vendors or see live reindeer up close, there will be something for everyone.
Anchoring the Minneapolis Holiday Markets entertainment will be the
Holiday Carousel, providing extraordinary rides that blend entertainment
thrills, festive sights and the smells of rich aromas from eclectic foods and
drinks with the downtown skyline draped in the background. The carousel
will run daily during the Minneapolis Holiday Markets hours from 11
a.m. to 9 p.m. (6 p.m. on Dec. 24).
The Minneapolis Holiday Market site map, released today, shows
illuminated wooden huts decorated in sparkling holiday fashion. They will be home to local and international
vendors that will provide visitors the chance to experience a variety of traditional European gifts and foods. This

Herrnhuter Stars for your holiday decorations,
and SherpaKnits hats, which originate from Nepal.
Visit must-see stops like a hut featuring Kathe

others. Other treats
include German bratwurst, Gluhwein (mulled, spiced red wine with cinnamon sticks),
Minnesota Harvest (delicious apple strudels), Knokes Fresh Roasted Nuts and much
more.
There will be exciting activities all along the Holidazzle Village on Nicollet Mall. From 3
p.m.-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28 and weekends through Dec. 24, the Holidazzle Village
featuring the Minneapolis Holiday Market will feature incredible experiences for all ages. Visit live reindeer
welcoming guests at the Reindeer Barn, be surprised and delighted in the activities at Santas Workshop and
hear local musical groups spreading holiday cheer. With trees, lights and holiday imagery of our newest
Holidazzle ambassadorsthe Nutcracker and Sugarplum Fairylining the streets, youll take part in photo
opportunities with iconic Holidazzle figures, like the Light Bulbs, and listen to unforgettable story time sessions
with local celebrities. There will be fireworks, glass blowing demonstrations, dog sled exhibitions and ice skating.
