(MINNEAPOLIS) May 23, 2012Minneapolis, City by Nature, has felt like summer for a few months now, but now is the time to fully enjoy the beautiful weather of 2012 by scheduling a visit to one of the hot hotels and accessing amazing summer deals.
Patio and rooftop seating is now available at many amazing restaurants around Minneapolis. What would summer be without festivals? The Minnesota State Fair runs from Aug. 23-Sept. 3, leaving plenty of time to indulge in deep-fried things on a stick, take a trip on the Sky Ride over the festival grounds or attend one of many entertainment acts featured at the Grandstand! Bike, walk or bus throughout the city to keep that carbon footprint minimal. Metro Transit, Minneapoliss public transit system, is accessible all day long, or, if you are looking to be more active, rent a bike for the day through Nice Ride Minnesota and roll through the city or along the Mississippi River on the miles of trails like the Grand Rounds National Scenic Byway or Midtown Greenway. With these easy modes of transportation, you will not have to worry about getting around the city on your trip to Minneapolis.
