Student-designed robots duke it out in regional Midwest Robotics Competition at Mall of America®
WHAT: The Midwest Robotics League returns to Mall of America® for their 2015 regional competition on Saturday, April 25 Sunday, April 26.
Guests are invited to watch 15-pound robots compete head-to-head in three-minute matches, or until one robot is disabled and taps out. Each robot is built and driven by middle school, high school and college students from across the Midwest. The competition is double elimination.
When the robots arent competing, guests will have the opportunity to interact and learn more about them and their specialties.
Midwest Robotics League is a hands-on program that allows students to design and build a robot and then test their designs at monthly competitions. The organization gives students an opportunity to use math, science and technology in a fun, competitive environment.
