"A Snowplow Named Desire: Love in Minnesota"
Minneapolis, MN -- The Brave New Workshop Theatre (BNW) is pleased to announce the cast and title for its 2014 winter show: "A Snowplow Named Desire: Love in Minnesota" Previews for the show run February 6-12, 2014, with opening night on Thursday, February 13. The show runs through March 29. All performances are at the Brave New Workshop Theatre main stage at 824 Hennepin Avenue, Downtown Minneapolis. "A Snowplow Named Desire" is the 283rd comedy revue by the Brave New Workshop, where the cast will present a mix of all-new sketches and some classics from the theatre's archives, with an eye on exposing the hilarious, and often ridiculous, side of love and relationships.
"Snowplow" will feature BNW cast members Lauren Anderson, Matt Erkel, Bobby Gardner, Andy Hilbrands, Tom Reed, Taj Ruler, and Melanie Wehrmacher. The show is directed by Caleb and Katy McEwen. Peter Guertin returns as music director, and Matthew Vichlach will provide technical direction.
The cast began the writing and rehearsal process in early January. Show images and additional show information (including a special Valentine's Day event) will be available in the coming weeks.
