(Minneapolis, MN) September 24, 2015— For the seventh straight year, the Minneapolis Zuhrah Shrine and Fun Time Shows will present the Twin Cities’ only traditional three-ring circus. The 2015 Shrine Circus, a major fundraiser for the Zuhrah Shriners, will take place at Target Center in Minneapolis over Thanksgiving weekend. But this year’s Shrine Circus is not only more spectacular than any prior production that has come to Minneapolis, but it also includes an historic announcement that will no doubt be a crowd-pleaser.

“We have been hearing from our fans that while they want an affordable three-ring circus the entire family can enjoy, the use of performing wild animals needs to be a part of the past,” said Bill Cunningham, producer and promoter of the Shrine Circus, “So we are doing just that! The Minneapolis event will be one of our very first ‘worry-free’ circus productions, featuring only domestic animal performers like dogs and horses! We are proud to say that there will be no wild animals.”

Shrine Circus is the only interactive circus in the world! The audience is warmly welcomed into all three rings of the circus floor for the famous Pre-Party taking place one hour prior to show times. Guests can meet the performers, ride a pony, and just clown around! Combine this intimate experience with remarkably talented and dedicated circus stars, a tightly knit production with spectacular lighting and sound, show girls, cotton candy, snow cones, face painting, and pony rides – and you have a marvelous event that all generations will enjoy!

This year’s Shrine Circus has attracted the most impressive group of talented circus acts ever to appear together! In addition to magical transformations, galloping horse riders, and performing poodles, these amazing acrobats will dazzle and astound. Only the Shrine Circus brings you the daredevil motorcycle globe riders, high wire troupe and the World Record Human Cannonball all in one show! Acts scheduled to appear in 2015 include*:

- David & Dania, our internationally award-winning duo of impossible transformations;

- Kambarov Riders, a paramount display of powerful horses performing in time with their acrobatic riders. These modern Cossack warriors from over 7,000 miles away push the limits of strength and courage. Stunts are fast-paced, dangerous and require perfect teamwork between horse and rider;

- Just Larry, with his crazy antics and wacky charm, will tickle fancies and win hearts! He is sure to bring laughter and joy to audiences of all ages;

- Trupa Florea, traveling all the way from Romania, our special guest stars keep us ‘balanced’ with their flawlessly executed feats;

- Windy City Tumblers, the high-energy group that jumps, flips and flies through the air;

- Motocross Madness, the animated two-wheeled sensations not for the faint-hearted;

- The Human Cannonball, aka World Record holder David Smith, Jr. blasts from the booming barrel, soaring freestyle to his destination!

Ticket prices are just $20 for general admission. Spectacular Reserved seats are available for $29 and Ringmaster Reserved seats are $39.50 each. Children who have not yet reached their 2nd birthday are admitted free, but must sit in a parent’s lap. Tickets may be purchased now at Target Center’s box office or online at TargetCenter.com.
