Seward Neighborhood Art Crawl Celebrates 15 Years of Art and Frolicking Dec. 5-7

CELEBRATES 15 YEARS
FESTIVITIES PLANNED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH
LOCAL BUSINESSES AND MORE THAN 60 VISUAL ARTISTS

Minneapolis, MN (November 10, 2014) The Seward Winter Frolic: Art in the Hood celebrates its fifteenth year of highlighting local artists and businesses with a weekend of festivities December 5 through 7, 2014.
The weekend kicks off with an evening of food, wine and performances including music, poetry and dance at the Playwrights Center on Friday December 5 from 6:30 9:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit The Seward Neighborhood Group.
The Seward Art Crawl will take place on Saturday, December 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, December 7 from noon to 5 p.m. More than 60 artists will be displaying and selling their work at local businesses, art and home-studios, galleries and churches. Art crawlers are invited to frolic at participating businesses and churches by taking advantage of giveaways and specials. All venues are within walking distance throughout the Seward Neighborhood. Free pedicab rides will also be available from 1 to 5 p.m.
Highlights for the weekend include live music and painting demonstrations in the Ivy Building, dog and family portraits at Fun City Dogs, cocktail tasting at Zipps, card and gift wrap making at Articulture, a tree lighting event at Triangle Park and local food and beverages to be showcased at various locations.
