PRIOR LAKE February 3, 2014 ­ After a whirlwind year of touring and a new album, 20-year-old Scotty McCreery will return to the Mystic Showroom stage at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 11.

The youngest male singer ever to win American Idol in 2011, Scotty McCreerys star has risen rapidly, with album sales now topping 1.6 million. McCreerys first album Clear as Day debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 and Top Country Albums charts, and was certified Platinum in just 13 weeks. McCreery went on to win New Artist of the Year at both the 2011 American Country Awards and the 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards. McCreerys second album, Christmas with Scotty McCreery, reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200. His latest album, 2013s See You Tonight, hit No. 1 on the U.S. Country chart. He has performed for President Barack Obama, performed the national anthem at the World Series, and appeared on numerous television programs including Good Morning America and TODAY.
