8th Annual Cruise for Troops

A Ride Paying Tribute to All Fallen Soldiers- September 24

Minneapolis, Minn. (Sept. 15, 2016)

WHAT: More than 3,000 people are expected to attend and participate in the 8th Annual Cruise for Troops starting at Running Aces Casino & Racetrack on Saturday, September 24. The day will be filled with events to honor all veterans and fallen soldiers as well as celebrate the legacy left behind.

Over 1,000 cars, trucks and motorcycles will cruise on a 50 mile ride through Anoka and Washington counties. All proceeds from the cruise will benefit Tribute to the Troops, a local non-profit that ensures fallen soldiers won’t be forgotten. The money raised will go towards helping with educational costs for children who have lost a parent serving in the military.

After the cruise, spectators and participants can enjoy an afternoon full of live music, vendors, kid’s areas, raffles, displays, contests, a swap meet and prizes.

Registration: 9 a.m. – Noon at Running Aces

Cruise: Noon – 2 p.m.

After Party: 2 – 5 p.m. at Running Aces featuring The Holy Rocka Rollaz
