RADISSON BLU MINNEAPOLIS TO CELEBRATE JULY 7th OPENING WITH RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY OPENING DAY
WHAT:
On Monday, July 7, 2014, Radisson Blu, one of the worlds leading hotel brands will open the doors to the Radisson Blu Minneapolis, the 4th Blu in North America. The property will feature over 360 sophisticated rooms, 29,000 square feet of new and flexible meeting space, 24-hour business center, Business Class by Radisson® Lounge and signature restaurant FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar by Executive Chef Jim Kyndberg. Formerly the Radisson Plaza Hotel Minneapolis, the hotel is located in the same space as the first Radisson Hotel purchased in the early 1960s.
EVENT SPECIFICS:
Open to the public, the hotelwill host a celebratory ribbon cutting ceremony at the front entrance, featuring remarks from hotel General Manager Steve Lindburg, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, Chartres Lodging Group and City Councilman Jacob Frey. The event will conclude with cake, beverages and offered tours of the new space.
