Open house for the Highway 5 Bridge construction project scheduled for March 12
Project includes the Mississippi Blvd/Shepard Rd and Edgecumbe Rd bridges
ROSEVILLE, Minn. The public is invited to attend an open house on Wed. March 12, to learn about a construction project that includes rehabilitating the bridge deck, the pedestrian walkway and the guardrails on the Highway 5 Bridge spanning the Mississippi River and repairing the Mississippi Road/Shepard Road and Edgecumbe Road bridges in St. Paul.
The informal open house will be held at the Historic Fort Snelling Visitor Center, 200 Tower Avenue, St. Paul from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Open house attendees will have an opportunity to view a layout of the two-construction season project and to learn about the construction schedule and alternative routes. Staff from the Minnesota Department of Transportation will be available to answer questions about potential impacts to traffic, pedestrians and bicyclists.
