Music in the Zoo 2016 Series Lineup
Minneapolis (April 11, 2016) --- Esteemed local promoter, Sue McLean & Associates (SMA), announces the summer concert line up for the U.S. Bank FlexPerks Rewards Music in the Zoo 2016 season. The 24th year of the series promises to continue the longstanding tradition of offering a variety of music genres for fans of all ages on the Sue McLean Stage in the Weesner Family Amphitheater at the Minnesota Zoo (1300 Zoo Blvd., Apple Valley, Minn.).
SMA CEO Patricia McLean says continuing the concert series is all part of the company’s commitment to honor the legacy of beloved company founder, the late Sue McLean, who was considered a significant and influential part of the Twin Cities music community for more than 30 years.
“This year’s series features legendary artists and fan favorites as well as new artists who help define this summer’s outdoor music experience,” says SMA President Kimberly Gottschalk. “The intimate outdoor live music experience that Music in the Zoo offers is truly magical.”
New partnerships include U.S. Bank Flex Perks Rewards as the new title sponsor and Sun Country Airlines coming on board as a Platinum sponsor. All sponsorship partners anchor the series and are a big part of the series’ success.
Tickets for the 2016 series will go on sale Saturday, April 23 at 10 a.m., online at suemclean.com/zoo or etix.com, in person at Electric Fetus (2000 4th Ave. So, Minneapolis), or Etix charge by phone at 1-800-514-3849.
