The MNRG are unpaid professionals and donate proceeds from each bout to charity. To date, the MNRG have donated more than $91,000 to local charities and organizations since 2004. They are proud to donate a portion of monetary proceeds from this bout to the Ann Bancroft Foundation. The Ann Bancroft Foundation and its donors fund the Let Me Play sports and fitness grants, which increase girls' participation in sport and organized fitness activity by eliminating cost as a barrier.
The Minnesota RollerGirls organization is an all-female, flat track roller derby league. Founded in August 2004 by the Donnelly sisters, the Minnesota RollerGirls are members of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).
