SHAKOPEE, Minn., (Jul. 24, 2012) The Renaissance Festival will be expanding its presence in the Twin Cities as a vendor at the State Fair in St. Paul, beginning August 23 through Labor Day, September 3. The booth will offer fairgoers the opportunity to purchase tickets at an exclusive rate and the chance to interact with lively entertainers!

The booth will be located near the Sheep Barn, at the intersection of Judson Avenue and Liggett Street and will be easily recognizable to guests that have attended the Renaissance Festival. A colorful Travelers Booth will be the Festivals home away from home while at the State Fair. Entertainers will engage guests at the fair and build excitement for the upcoming Festival season! Beloved entertainers such as Twig the Fairy, belly dance troupes, musicians and others will be stopping by for daily appearances at the State Fair.

Discount admission tickets will be sold at $5 off gate prices, an exclusive deal for fairgoers that stop by the booth! T-shirts, hats and bags will also be available for visitors looking to grab new styles available at the Renaissance Festival this year. Posters and other print materials for the 2012 Festival season will be available for fairgoers to pick up as well. The Renaissance Festival booth will be a must-see for all visitors at the fair!

The Minnesota Renaissance Festival is a first-class experience whose 42nd season begins on Saturday, August 18 and runs till September 30, 2012. The Festival is open weekends, Labor Day and a special day for schools and seniors on Festival Friday, Sept. 28th, 2012 open from 9 a.m. 7 p.m., rain or shine. The Festival is located three miles south of Shakopee on Hwy 169. Price of admission is $21.95 for adults; $12.95 for children 5 12; $19.95 for seniors; four and under is free; dogs $10.00 with registration.
