Minnesota PerformDance's Starettes High Kick into the Holiday Season at The Cowles Center
MINNEAPOLIS (Nov. 2, 2011) - The Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts kicks off the holiday season, literally, with Minnesota PerformDance Productions production of All Wrapped Up featuring the Starettes! The enchanting Starettes, along with their ballroom dancing and singing friends will take you, your friends and family on a captivating holiday ride filled with music and dance to celebrate the holiday season.
All Wrapped Up runs for two performances only, on Friday, December 2 at 7:30pm and Saturday, December 3 at 2pm.
Tickets range from $15 to $19 and can be purchased in person at The Cowles Center box office Tuesday - Friday 11:00 am - 5:00 pm and Saturday & Sunday two hours prior to performances.
Minnesota PerformDance offers a charming variety show featuring the Starettes, Twin Cities' answer to the famous New York City kick line. Enjoy all of your favorite Christmas stories performed through dance and song. Minnesota PerformDance will incorporate all the classic Christmas songs we love including Silver Bells, Santa Baby, Winter Wonderland, Santa Clause is Coming to Town and many more, offering fun for the entire family! All Wrapped Up marks the start of the holiday season at The Cowles Center. The December line-up includes a full slate of family-friendly shows, including the manic energy of Buckets and Tap Shoes, Zenon Dance Company's The Nutcracker According to Mother Goose, acclaimed vocal ensemble Cantus with their Christmas concert and the classic Loyce Houlton's Nutcracker Fantasy from Minnesota Dance Theatre.
