Minneapolis Marriott City Center M-Club Attendant Bernard Asante honored with Meet Minneapolis Hospitality Hero award

MINNEAPOLIS, June 10, 2016 — Bernard Asante, M-Club Attendant at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center, has been awarded the first quarter 2016 Hospitality Hero award from Meet Minneapolis, Convention and Visitors Association. The award honors an individual or company who has contributed significantly to the public image of Minneapolis through outstanding hospitality and service.

Asante was nominated by Kristine Kelly, director of human resources at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center. In nominating him, Kelly wrote that Asante, as a concierge lounge attendant, is the first person many guests see each morning, and he hosts them all with genuine hospitality, making each one of them feel like they are at home.

Kelly says Asante continually goes above and beyond to enhance the experience of the guests, and the hotel regularly receives messages from guests complimenting his work. One guest wrote, “I have stayed at a lot of hotels, and of all the concierge lounges I have been to, there is no one more professional, accommodating, and dedicated to providing exceptional service than Bernard."

The Meet Minneapolis Hospitality Hero award is given quarterly to members of the Minneapolis hospitality community who have been nominated by their peers.
