MINNEAPOLIS (Jan. 8, 2018) – Kira Musolf, a convention service manager at Millennium Minneapolis has been named a Hospitality Hero award winner for third quarter by Meet Minneapolis, Convention and Visitors Association. The award is given quarterly to members of the Minneapolis hospitality community who have been nominated by their colleagues, and honors an individual or company that has made valuable contributions to the image and culture of Minneapolis through outstanding hospitality and service.

Musolf is often the first point of contact for visiting meeting planners, and has proven to provide a “stellar first impression” of Minneapolis, according to her nomination. Known for her attention to guests’ needs, meeting their requests with positivity and professionalism, Musolf has shown dedication to her job, and treats the request of a single guest with same importance as a meeting planner bringing a large meeting to the city.

Kimberly Osterhout, Musolf’s supervisor and Director of Sales and Marketing, said Musolf is constantly seeking ways to improve. “Kira continually looks for ways to expand her knowledge about the hospitality industry as a way to provide increasingly better service and experience,” said Osterhout. “Kira has a passion for this industry and is an example of the type of professional that will elevate the hospitality industry.”
