metroConnections welcomes new director of finance & human resources

(MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.) April 8, 2015 metroConnections, Inc. an award-winning conference, event, stage production and transportation services firm has announced Bruce Samuel as their Director of Finance & Human Resources.

Samuel comes to metro with more than 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, HR, operations, payroll administration and office management. In his new position, he is responsible for overseeing the Accounting Department and Human Resources Department as well as general office administrative-related functions. He holds a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in accounting from Marquette University, an MBA in Finance from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and he earned his CPA certification from the state of Wisconsin.

Samuel began his career in the Twin Cities with Republic Airlines and then Northwest Airlines, then moved into the CFO position at MilePoint and The Lacek Group in Minneapolis. Prior to joining the metro team, Samuel was the Financial Manager at BI Worldwide and Controller at Martin Bastian Productions. He has also been a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity since 2001, where he leads a work crew one week every summer.
