metroConnections announces national sales account executive earns Certified Meeting Professional certification

(MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.) March 7, 2014 metroConnections, Inc. an award-winning conference, event, stage production and transportation services firm has announced that Stephanie Montini, National Sales Account Executive, received her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification.

Established in 1985, the CMP certification program recognizes individuals who have achieved the industry's highest standard of professionalism. To earn the CMP designation, meeting professionals must demonstrate their experience and education in this field and pass a rigorous exam. Montini is among more than 14,000 individuals in 51 countries and territories that have earned the CMP designation since its inception.

According to Tom McCulloch, Vice President of metroConnections, Montini is now considered a leading expert in the meetings, conventions and exhibitions industry. Stephanie understands the art behind meeting management. This certification further accredits her knowledge and skills to represent metroConnections standard of excellence for our clients. said McCulloch.

Montini has established extensive experience working with corporate and association clients for meetings, conferences, conventions, tradeshows, incentive trips and other meetings. Previous experience includes sales and operation account management in both South Florida and San Francisco. She currently sells all four of metroConnections services centers nationally including: Conferences, Events, Production & Transportation. A graduate of Columbia College, Chicago, Montini is a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and Financial & Insurance Conference Planners (FICP).
