Meet Minneapolis, Convention & Visitors Association, receives 2013 Religious Conference Manager Praise Award

(Minneapolis) July 9, 2013 Meet Minneapolis has been named a 2013 Religious Conference Manager Praise Award winner by the Religious Conference Management Association (RCMA). Receiving this award distinguishes Meet Minneapolis as an industry leader in the religious conference field.

Members of the RCMA selected the hotels and convention and visitors bureaus they felt best represented and handled meetings in the religious conference field. Winners will be announced in the August 2013 issue of Religious Conference Manager magazine.

This award is a great testament to the entire team at Meet Minneapolis, who all took part in making the Emerge conference a success, said Melvin Tennant, president and CEO. We are delighted that the meeting planners who read Religious Conference Manager selected us for this honor and hope those who did not attend Emerge will visit our destination in person soon.

Meet Minneapolis welcomed the RCMA Emerge conference in January to the Minneapolis Convention Center, bringing more than 700 attendees to Minneapolis over four days. This award has the potential to bring future convention business to the destination by highlighting the destination to meeting planners in religious and other segments.
