Meet Minneapolis hires new sales account executive
MINNEAPOLIS (Sept. 25, 2013) With a background in hotel hospitality and a newly earned undergraduate degree, Jenna Archer joins Meet Minneapolis, Convention & Visitors Association in Destination Sales as sales account executive. A fresh face to the hotel industry, she brings with her a passion for tourism and hospitality.
Archer has proven her experience in hotel hospitality and customer service with her guest service representative positions at both Radisson Hotel La Crosse and Hilton Garden Inn Madison West. She recently received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, where her recent academic-based knowledge will prove valuable to her newly acquired sales position.
I am ecstatic about pursuing my professional goals of tourism and hospitality sales at Meet Minneapolis, said Archer. I cant wait to contribute my interactive and communications skills with the sales team.
As sales account executive, Archer will be required to achieve an annual definite hotel room night goal, correspond and visit with meeting planners, hotel sales personnel, and other hospitality industry suppliers, and manage progress on current accounts. She will also actively prospect to find new business and generate leads, all the while promoting and selling the city of Minneapolis as a premier destination for small meetings and conventions.
Jennas passion for customer service combined with her young perspective will undeniably prove essential for our sale efforts, said Leslie Wright, senior vice president of Destination Sales & Services. Her fresh ideas regarding hotel hospitality and management will enhance our Destination Sales team.
