Meet Minneapolis announces third quarter Hospitality Hero award
MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 18, 2013 One of Meet Minneapolis very own, Judith Wright, housing services planner, is awarded the third quarter Hospitality Hero award from Meet Minneapolis, Convention and Visitors Association. The award honors an individual or company who has contributed significantly to the public image of Minneapolis through outstanding hospitality and service.
Wright was nominated by Andrea Krawczyk, director of sales at Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Downtown. Krawczyk has been continuously impressed with Wrights ability to go the extra mile in providing service to visitors, and consequently enhancing each visitors desire to return to Minneapolis. Her pride in and commitment to Minneapolis hospitality industry was eminent in her handling of the recent Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing event at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Wright was tasked with coordinating housing for attendees, which was not a simple task according to Krawczyk, as the group had several specific needs. Wright handled the work with ease and poise. The group was thoroughly impressed with Wrights attention to detail, which resulted in their interest to return and use Meet Minneapolis housing services again in 2017 or 2018.
Judith always pays great attention to detail, which demonstrates pride and shows that she wants guests to have the best experience possible when they arrive, said Krawczyk. She is an exceptional ambassador for the city and always has a smile on her face, which is accompanied with a helpful attitude when interacting with both internal and external clients.
Wright is a Minneapolis resident who is committed to the hospitality industry and visitor experience, and her positive attitude and eagerness to accommodate hotel guests is elemental to the successful execution of each event. Due to her commitment, the guests are able to arrive knowing their reservations have been made correctly, so they can start their experience in Minneapolis on a positive note and ultimately book future trips.
The Meet Minneapolis Hospitality Hero award is given quarterly to members of the Minneapolis hospitality community who have been nominated by their peers. The four annual winners are celebrated at the Meet Minneapolis Annual Meeting in the spring each year.
