Media Advisory: NCAA to Announce Monday if Minneapolis Wins Women’s Final Four Bid
Minneapolis (Sept. 20, 2018) – On Monday, Sept. 24, the National Collegiate Athletic Association® (NCAA) is set to announce the cities it has chosen to host the Women’s Final Four in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Minneapolis is one of seven cities vying for the honor, under a bidding process spearheaded locally by University of Minnesota Athletics, Sports Minneapolis and Target Center. Media are invited to the viewing party to watch the live announcement, set for 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 24. Interview opportunities will immediately follow.
WHAT: NCAA Women’s Final Four Announcement Viewing Party
- A short news conference and opportunities for one-on-one interviews will take place immediately following the announcement.
WHEN: Monday, Sept. 24
- Media check-in begins at 12:30 p.m. Official NCAA announcement will be made at 1 p.m.
