WHAT: Mall of America will host an open discussion and learning session intended to educate adults on how to best communicate body confidence, self-love and acceptance in younger generations on Tuesday, September 17 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The free event includes a panel of experts who will educate attendees on ways to support healthier perspectives in our youth and how to combat the unrealistic view and expectations on beauty that society and social media often inaccurately portray.
Panelists include:
- Dr. Jillian Lampert, Chief Strategy Officer for The Emily Program
- Heather Corndorf, founder of MXe Studio
- Lisa Radzak, Executive Director of WithAll
- Jaalisa Banks, Mother, Writer + Mental Illness Awareness Advocate
- Isabel Duran-Graybow, College Connector for the “Aqui Para Ti/Here for you Teen Program
