Toddler Tuesdays^®: The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Childhood storybook favorite, The Very Hungry Caterpillar will crawl over to Mall of America for a family-friendly celebration. Guests can enjoy crafts, meet-and-greets with the caterpillar and a very special story time reading of The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Real.Big.Summer. presents The Vamps performance and signing

Already a sensation in the U.K., The Vamps have opened for Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez, but this British four-piece is ready to step out on their own. Theyve just released their first U.S. single, Somebody to You featuring Demi Lovato and are ready for stateside chart domination.

SMSC Wacipi

A whirl of colors, sights and sounds will fill the halls as the Rotunda is transformed into a Pow Wow arena, complete with a Master of Ceremonies and two drum groups for the SMSC sponsored Pow Wow Exhibition. Guests can experience Native American dancers from the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community of Prior Lake, MN and other Indian nations in full regalia.

Real.Big.Summer presents: AJR performance and signing

Three brothers, born and raised in New York City, have achieved startling levels of success with their new single Im Ready. The electro-pop single is taking off on social media: more than 1.5 million views on YouTube and thousands of singles sold each week. AJR has also been featured in Billboard, the New York Post and on MTV.

BATTLE ROTUNDA: Breakdancing Competition

Dozens of breakdancers will battle for the title and $2,500 in Minnesotas largest breakdancing competition. Dancers battle in crews of four or five people. Guests can also enjoy special performances by Carnage the Executioner, All Day and In New Company.

Swayze Daze of Summer

In celebration of legendary Patrick Swayzes birthday on August 18, Theatres at Mall of America^® present a Patrick Swayze double feature, showing Dirty Dancing at 7 p.m. followed by Roadhouse at 9:30 p.m. Proceeds from this event will benefit Pancreatic Cancer Action Networks PurpleRideStride 2014.
