MINNEAPOLIS (Nov. 9, 2011) - The WNBA Draft Lottery, which will help determine the top four picks in the 2012 WNBA Draft, will be held tomorrow, Thursday, November 10. Tomorrows Draft Lottery involves teams that did not make the playoffs this past season, including the Tulsa Shock, Washington Mystics, Chicago Sky and the Los Angeles Sparks. The 2011 WNBA Champion Lynx own Washingtons first round pick, which is currently slotted second overall. The pick was acquired by Minnesota from the Mystics on April 9, 2011 in exchange for center Nicky Anosike.

A year ago the Lynx won the 2011 WNBA Draft Lottery, using the No. 1 overall pick to select 2011 WNBA Rookie of the Year Maya Moore. Minnesota also chose Amber Harris with the No. 4 overall selection.

WNBA officials and a representative from the accounting firm of Ernst & Young will conduct the Draft Lottery in New York City.
