PRIOR LAKE – JUNE 13, 2016 ­– Jay Leno, former host of The Tonight Show will perform in the Mystic Showroom® Saturday, August 27, at 8 p.m.

Even before he became the leader of late night television, Jay Leno was a household name. Leno first made an appearance as guest host on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in 1977 and became the exclusive guest host in 1987. Five years later, Leno followed in the footsteps of legendary late night hosts Steve Allen, Jack Paar and Johnny Carson by becoming The Tonight Show host. He reigned late night leader for almost 19 years and received an Emmy for “Outstanding Comedy, Variety or Music Series.”

After passing the torch of The Tonight Show to Jimmy Fallon, Leno became producer and star of Jay Leno’s Garage, a project that began as a series of YouTube videos showcasing his incredible collection of classic cars and modern supercars.
