INTRODUCTION TO LARD

GALE WOODS FARM

Just in time for holiday baking and cooking! Join us on Saturday, November 16, from 1:30-4 p.m., at Gale Woods Farm, Minnetrista, and learn about lard from rendering ground lard to using it in recipes in place of shortening and butter. Well also discuss the health benefits as well as other uses. Youll take home samples and participate in hands-on cooking opportunities. Come hungry and leave inspired!

Cost is $12 and reservations are required by November 13. Call 763-559-6700 to make a reservation and reference activity number #437411-02. This program is open to ages 12+.
