INAUGURAL U.S. BANK STADIUM BASKETBALL CLASSIC TO BE VENUE’S FIRST BASKETBALL EVENT
Minneapolis – U.S. Bank Stadium is set to host the first basketball event in the stadium’s history on Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1. The four-game classic starts on Friday night with the University of Wisconsin – River Falls versus the University of St. Thomas, and a match-up between the University of Minnesota and Oklahoma State University. On Saturday evening, North Dakota State takes on Drake University, followed by South Dakota State versus the University of Northern Iowa.

U.S. Bank Basketball Classic

Before the games begin on both days, fans can enjoy a Tailgate Party in the Delta Sky360° Club featuring food and beverage specials, including local craft beer and specialty cocktails, and a tour of the Vikings Locker Room. During the event on Saturday, live coverage of football games will be streamed in the Delta Sky360° Club. Tickets for the Tailgate Party are $35 each and must be purchased in addition to tickets for the games.
Since opening in July 2016, U.S. Bank Stadium has welcomed over three million visitors, quickly becoming one of the premier stadiums in the world. As a precursor to the 2019 NCAA Men’s Final Four®, this four-game classic will be the first basketball event in U.S. Bank Stadium’s history.
