iDSS concludes most successful year yet
MINNEAPOLIS (Jan. 17, 2012) - Destination marketing industry software leader iDSS announced its most successful year in its history.
iDSS General Manager Mark Lynch and CEO Melvin Tennant, CAE, announced today the conclusion of their most prosperous year in existence.
All of our key benchmarks relating to growth and development were met in 2011; I could not be more proud of our team, said Tennant.
What is particularly gratifying is the engagement, support and advocacy our clients demonstrated this year, Lynch remarked. It was commonplace to have our loyal customers help our team in the acquisition of new customers. The result was the addition of 14 destination marketing organizations (DMOs) to iDSS portfolio.
This year stands to be a break-out year in terms of new enhancements to the application. We are working with Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI) on an Event Economic Impact Calculator, as well as enhancements related to the servicing of events, tracking media placements and enhancing our systems to feed data to DMO websites, said Lynch.
DMAI is the worlds largest and most reliable resource for the DMO industry. Over 650 DMOs rely on DMAI for critical data, educational resources, networking opportunities and marketing activities.
