PRIOR LAKE March 4, 2014 With more than a dozen Billboard Top 10 hits to their name, two-time Grammy Award winners Huey Lewis and The News will bring their signature rock n roll sound to the Mystic Showroom at 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 17.
Huey Lewis and The News rocketed to fame in the 1980s with a string of hit singles including Workin for a Livin and I Want a New Drug. The San Francisco-based band scored a No. 1 single and an Academy Award nomination for their song The Power of Love, featured in the movie Back to the Future. Huey Lewis and The News have sold over 20 million albums worldwide, including their 2010 release Soulsville and the multi-platinum 1980s hits Fore! and Sports. In 2013 the band released a remastered 30th anniversary edition of Sports.
