CRAFT BAR AND LOUNGE NOW OPEN AT THE
MINNEAPOLIS CONVENTION CENTER
Minneapolis (Feb. 10, 2015) - Craft Bar and Lounge is now open at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The venue is a collaboration between the Minneapolis Convention Center, Kelber Catering, Meet Minneapolis and the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild. The convention center establishment was created to provide an alternative place for meeting planners and guests to connect and build relationships. The public is also encouraged to stop by for a bite of food and pint of beer. It is located on the balcony of the new Visitor Information Center in the main lobby.
As its name suggests, Craft Bar and Lounge features some of Minnesota's best craft brews on a rotating basis and includes tap and bottled beers from such Minnesota breweries as Surly, Fulton, Lift Bridge, Summit, Bent Paddle, Big Wood and more. Some of the represented breweries, such as Bent Paddle, are not usually found in the Minneapolis area, making the Craft Bar and Lounge a unique spot for craft beer lovers to check out. A full cocktail selection is also available.
To accompany your beverage of choice, Kelber Catering, the convention center's exclusive caterer, has created an exclusive menu for Craft Bar and Lounge. The tasty options range from Hell Battered Chicken with Surly Hell-infused batter to Naan Pizzas, Sliders to Sweet Chili Pork Wings and Braised Pork Nachos to the House Fries featuring a Grain Belt Premium Cheese Sauce.
The Craft Bar and Lounge takes us another step closer to fulfilling our promise as the Relationship Building, says Jeff Johnson, executive director of the Minneapolis Convention Center. The great new space will provide another, more intimate gathering place for our convention attendees and meeting planners. It's also a perfect place for anyone attending an event at the MCC to stop by for a beverage and something to eat before, during or after the event, after work or on weekends.
Hours vary. Visit their page for more information.
