Meet Minneapolis launches Vikings Vacation sweepstakes
Minneapolis (July 22, 2013) The Minnesota Vikings are playing London this September and Meet Minneapolis wants one lucky winner to go there and see it. FOR FREE! Meet Minneapolis, Convention & Visitors Association, and the Vikings have teamed up to offer exclusive fan experiences including the chance to travel to London for the Steelers vs. Vikings football game on Sept. 29. Sweepstakes entries on www.go.minneapolis.org also are eligible for weekly Minneapolis prize drawings that include Vikings game tickets.
Grand Prize Getaway with the Vikings to London
The ultimate fan package treats you to two Club Level sidelines game tickets to the Steelers vs. Vikings at Londons Wembley Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 29. The trip includes round-trip air to and from Minneapolis-St. Paul International airport and London, England, and a four-night stay at the Radisson Blu Edwardian. Winners gain entrance to the NFL Friday Night Party in London featuring appetizer menu and complimentary bar along with appearances by NFL Cheerleaders and alumni players, as well as to the VIP Party at the Official NFL Tailgate Party adjacent to Wembley.
The Grand Prize winner will be announced on Aug. 29, 2013, Minnesota Vikings pre-season football game.
Weekly Giveaway Prizes
For the next three months, Meet Minneapolis is giving away seven packages that let fans experience Vikings game days in Minneapolis in a whole lot of different ways. Packages include hotel accommodations, dining packages and tickets to a Minnesota Vikings game from Meet Minneapolis partners.
Participating partners include: Hilton Minneapolis, Westin Edina Galleria, Hyatt Minneapolis, Commons Hotel, Marriott Minneapolis Downtown, Hells Kitchen, Kaskaid Hospitality, Parasole, Café Maude, Red Stag Supperclub, Bryant Lake Bowl and Old Spaghetti Factory.
The Red Phone Booth
Meet Minneapolis and the Vikings have taken a bit of London and brought it back to Minneapolis. All throughout Vikings training camp and their Aug. 9 pre-season game, you can take a photo inside an authentic London phone booth, which you can upload to Facebook with the hashtag #VikingsInUK for an opportunity to have your photo published in an album on the official Minnesota Vikings Facebook page.
Online entrants may submit one contest entry per day for each day during the nine-week duration of the sweepstakes. Official rules and eligibility information and an entry form for the Vikings Vacation Sweepstakes and information about the prize packages, as well as great hotel, restaurant and attraction deals are all available on Go.Minneapolis.org.
