Thousands of families gear up for Fraser Walk for Autism, presented by BMO Harris Bank, at Mall of America®
WHAT: One in 88 U.S. children has been identified with an autism spectrum disorder, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In Minnesota, more than 14,000 children have autism. To help raise awareness and funds for local families affected by autism, Mall of America® will host the Fraser Walk for Autism on Saturday, April 20.
Presented by BMO Harris Bank, the event will kick off at 7 a.m. with registration and breakfast in the Rotunda. Participants will enjoy music and entertainment from 7:30-7:50 a.m. by River Valley Dance Academy. At 8 a.m., thousands of families will walk around the Mall together; many of them sporting team t-shirts.
New to the Walk this year is an exclusive package provided by Radisson Blu Mall of America presented to the overall top fundraising team. The exclusive package will include an overnight stay for team members the night before the Walk, breakfast the morning of the Walk, Mall of America swag and Fraser Walk for Autism t-shirts to recognize the winning teams efforts.
