Named #51 on Time Magazines 2011 list of the 100 most influential people in the world, the fearless Florence Welch and a rotating lineup of musicians blend moody rock with brash indie pop. They are touring in support of Ceremonials, their second album which came in at #7 on The Currents Top 89 Albums of 2011. Tickets go on sale at Noon on Saturday, Jan. 28. Winner of the 2009 Critics Choice Award at the Brits and originally from South London, Florence Welch was influenced by artists ranging from Dusty Springfield and Tom Waits to Bob Dylan. Florence + the Machine showcases a seven-piece band including long-term collaborators Rob Ackroyd (guitar), Chris Hayden (drums), Isabella Summers (keyboards) and Tom Monger (harp). Their debut single, Kiss with a Fist, in June 2008, was followed closely by their first album, Lungs, in July 2009, which became one of the years most popular releases in the U.K., with four Top 40 singles.
Another single, Dog Days Are Over, went platinum and Lungs won the 2009 Best Album Award at the Brits, the British Phonographic Industrys annual pop music awards. Welch wrote and recorded a heart-stopping track for the Twilight: Eclipse soundtrack and performed Dog Days to a global audience at the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2010. The following day she was the most Googled person in the world. In the last year, Florence + the Machine has graced the stages of Saturday Night Live and Good Morning America. They also performed at Anna Wintours star-studded annual Met Ball and at the Nobel Prize Awards Ceremony in Oslo.

Tickets go on sale at Noon on Saturday, Jan. 28 and range in price from $42.50 to $52.50 depending on seating preference. All prices include applicable facility fees.
