Following a very sold out Pride show on Saturday, Flip Phone is back in the Mainroom on Saturday, August 4 for Flip Phone: XXL Short Shorts starring Chi Chi DeVayne from RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. The wildly popular Flip Phone dance nights are dedicated to celebrating the music from the Flip Phone era ’97-’07. Tickets are on sale now.

For the fifth consecutive year, local Minneapolis hip-hop artist, Prof will throw Prof Outdoors 5: The Biggest Show in the History of Prof at the Cabooze Outdoor Plaza on Saturday, September 8 with special guests. The event is hosted by Go Radio’s Mr. Peter Parker. Tickets are on sale now.

Australian multi-instrumentalist Tash Sultana played a sold-out show at The Cedar Cultural Center her last jaunt in town. On Wednesday, November 7 she heads back to the Twin Cities, and slightly larger accommodations at the Palace Theatre, with special guests Ocean Alley. Sultana is touring in support of her new record, Flow State, set to be released August 31. Tickets go on sale to the public this Friday, June 29 at 10:00 a.m.

Fun fact - when New Order (playing the Palace Theatre on Thursday, August 23) goes on sale this Friday, it will be 35 years to the date when the band played the First Avenue Mainroom on June 29, 1983. Check out the YouTube video here.
