Full Schedule of Shows
A busy week with big announces, here are a few highlights we don’t want you to miss.
First Avenue and Live Nation present K-pop superstar Eric Nam with Loote in the First Avenue Mainroom on Wednesday, June 13. Note this show moved from The Cedar to First Avenue, original tickets will be honored.
STS9 defies conventional genre boundaries, a live band that incorporates dub, electronic, and psych for a one-of-a-kind experience. See them with special guests White Cliffs in the First Avenue Mainroom on Sunday, July 8.
Shoegaze pioneers My Bloody Valentine play the Palace Theatre on Wednesday, July 25. Fans know to prepare for the onslaught that is excessive feedback and droning noise for much of the show. Guitarist Kevin Shields has said, "…it was so loud it was like sensory deprivation. We just liked the fact that we could see a change in the audience at a certain point."
Glasgow-based CHVRCHES are Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook and Martin Doherty, and they’re returning with a soon-to-be-released album, Love Is Dead, following their top-10-debut The Bones of What You Believe. See them at the Palace Theatre on Wednesday, October 3.
“Guitar-God” doesn’t feel like much of a stretch when referring to Gary Clark Jr. He returns to Minnesota with an outdoor show at Surly Brewing Festival Field on Saturday, September 8.
